New to Birmingham, or moving here soon? Or, maybe like a lot of folks, you've been cooped up at home for a couple years waiting for the pandemic to go away. Well, now's the time to get out and try our all-time five favorite places to eat. 

Bottega Cafe: We enjoy going there for lunch on Saturdays and having the focaccia with Bottega infused olive oil. It's so simple, but so amazing! I like to get to get a fish sandwich and Suzanne usually gets a salad or a hamburger. You can close your eyes and point at the menu.  You can't go wrong! Great architecture and atmosphere. The cafe doesn't take reservations. So, go a little early or try eating at the bar.

Ten Charts that Show Why We're Not Heading for a Housing Bubble

During the pandemic, it was feared that the large number of borrowers in forbearance would eventually result in tide of foreclosures that would take the down the housing market. The following chart shows that those fears were unfounded.

Chart #2 shows that 81.6% of the borrowers in forbearance have successfully exited.
